Graphics

This will be a mixed bag of everything, from customizing the look and feel of your Android, to taking advantage of it's built-in camera and anything else related to image management and the graphical aspects of your mobile device.

Adobe Flash Player

One of the weaknesses of the portable platforms until recently was the lack of Flash support. Now, with Android 2.3+, you can use Flash. Install it to gain access to a whole new world of games and additional software.

Deviant Art

deviant-art.png

While unofficial, this app allows you to log into your Deviant Art account and browse through the stunning galleries of Deviant Art. Additionally, when you find an image you like, you can set it as your device wallpaper. That's a feature sadly lacking from services such as 500px.

Flickr

Yahoo's online photo service rivals Google's. Unfortunately, their Android app does not support all devices. As such, I was able to install it on my phone and from there, onto my tablet, but the camera does not function properly. Frankly, that's not a big deal for me, as I prefer to take pictures and edit, before I share them. Since the sharing functionality of this works just fine, it suits my needs.

This is a fun application to add special effects to pictures you take with the camera on your mobile device.

GOLauncher Wood Theme

I don't normally add links to specific themes, but there aren't a lot available for GOLauncher EX yet and I really like this one.

HDR Camera

By taking multiple shots of a single image, HDR software allows your Android to improve image quality, by emphasizing the more prominent elements of an image. It's an interesting method of artificially improving your device's camera quality for a particular shot. It's not something you'll use all the time, but if you want a really good image of something in particular and don't trust the lower quality camera of your device, this is one method of ensuring you get a better quality image.

Paint Joy - Movie Your Drawing

paint-joy.png

You can create animations with this finger-paint style program, as it replays the images you create. It's more of a game I guess, than a graphics program, but whatever.

Photo Editor

The Gallery app built into Android is rarely powerful enough to tweak pictures properly. This app has several effects as well as the advanced photo editing tools that you usually find only in desktop applications.
