For all the comic book fans, this app is a must have. It's a comic book reader and store combined. It grants you access to more than just DC or Marvel, too. There are many independent titles available, as well. Images provided by: Created: 17 Feb 2013 21:42 |
I have mixed feelings about this app. It's a news reader from Google and it can import your Google Reader feeds, albeit manually. However, it is intentionally designed with more aesthetic mobile magazines in mind. Sites like LifeHacker and TechCrunch provide endless hours of reading, but the selection of default sources is relatively small. One thing it does have going for it is a very attractive gallery style widget. Images provided by: Created: 25 Jan 2013 12:55 |

I'm not sure why the audio and video apps allow you access to your locally stored copies, but the E-Book reader doesn't. I find that very odd. However, this reader grants you access to Google's enormous bookstore, which also includes some free titles. Images provided by: Created: 25 Jan 2013 14:07 |
While printed magazines are on a decline, their electronic counterparts are going strong, especially with the help of apps like this store that offer you access to almost every electronic magazine available. They are hard to find, but there are some free ones available, as well as the odd free promotional edition. Images provided by: Created: 25 Jan 2013 14:04 |

I've tried several news reader, but this is my favourite. It has two-way synchronization with Google Reader and excellent functionality. It's layout is similar to FeedDemon, my favourite PC news reader. It's well designed for tablets and is highly configurable. Images provided by: Created: 25 Jan 2013 12:59 |
