This installment of the Batman franchise tries to find the balance between the dark and brooding hero of the 1990's Batman cartoon and the whacky comics of the Silver Age, with it's over the top villains, gadgets and characters.

It has a new take on Alfred, which is very unique. No longer the ultra conservative, third generation butler, he is now a brawny, former MI-6 agent, Bruce's sparring partner, more massive than his employer and walks with a cane. This could get interesting.
