Birdman was a failed attempt by Hanna-Barbera to make another successful superhero cartoon. This is one of DC Comics' long forgotten characters. He originally appeared in the segmented cartoon Birdman & The Galaxy Trio, which only lasted one season. He would later return to the small screen in a spoof series of all the old Hanna-Barbera characters in Harvey Birdman, Attorney At Law.
