Notes:
In the beginning, this show was very similar to the X-Files, in that it was about a pair of FBI agents and a scientist attempting to solve crimes that fall outside normal physics and into the "fringes" of science. However, very complex subplots develop with a psychotic scientist determined to recreate the Earth and an advanced race of humans from the future who attempt to take it over. There is of course, the usual unrequited love story between the two agents that takes the first 4 seasons to resolve.
