Notes:

After the success of his Survivorman series, Les returns to TV in a related series, wherein he explores various remote cultures and locations around the world. It's not as dangerous as his first series, but still very interesting and Mr. Stroud also admits, that after putting his body through as much torture as he did for several years throughout his adventures, it was time for him to take it a little bit easier.

Notes:

This was a failed pilot episode for a third documentary series featuring Les Stroud. This episode shows how to survive a flood and was filmed shortly after the massive flooding of New Orleans in 2005.

Survivorman

Premiered In: 2005 Status: Ended
3 Seasons, 60 Minute Episodes

Notes:

While not entirely honest, this series follows the adventures of Les Stroud and he demonstrates man's ability to survive in a wide range of hostile environments, on his own. The series claims to show Mr. Stroud completely alone, filming himself in hundreds of precarious locations and situations, but of course, without a safety team close by or an extra camera crew, many of these shots would have been impossible. So, there is some loss of credibility certainly, but the adventures are still far more arduous than any of would be willing to endure.
