Sadly, this show only lasted one season. The concept was that an unknown organization makes everyone in the world pass out for exactly 60 seconds, simultaneously. The world then tries to rebuild, determine the cause of the blackout, find the perpetrators and stop it from ever happening again.

In the beginning, this show was very similar to the X-Files, in that it was about a pair of FBI agents and a scientist attempting to solve crimes that fall outside normal physics and into the "fringes" of science. However, very complex subplots develop with a psychotic scientist determined to recreate the Earth and an advanced race of humans from the future who attempt to take it over. There is of course, the usual unrequited love story between the two agents that takes the first 4 seasons to resolve.

This is a medieval fantasy for adults, featuring dragons and wizards and the walking undead, but not as the primary focus of the show. Instead, an intense power struggle and war breaks out between feudal lords across a cold, European like country. There are very intense character struggles and adult themes that create the stories. The series is based on a series of best-selling books.

Lost meets Thing, meets the Walking Dead. In the Arctic Circle, far outside any national boundaries the CDC has been sent in to clean up a virus outbreak that turns people into super strong, raging zombie like creatures that spew black liquid. Yes, it sounds ridiculous, but most science fiction is when you examine it at its basest elements. So far, it has been pretty entertaining.

This is a Finnish version of The Lord Of The Rings. It's really, really bad; so bad it's fascinating.
