A rift in time allows humans from a nearly destroyed future earth to travel back in time to a primitive Earth, where they hope to give humanity a fresh start. The trick is that the the path only travels one direction. Once in the past, nobody can return to the future. They can communicate with the future Earth, but not travel there. Of course, there's an evil corporation who has other ideas for the prehistoric Earth, such as stripping it of its resources for the future time line and taking control of the rift by force. Which side will win? Unfortunately, this fun drama featuring modernized society mixed with dinosaurs and a small human society only lasted one season and we never do find out.

Pursued by a secret government agency who wants to wipe them out, these kids who consider themselves the next generation in human evolution always stay one step ahead, trying save the lives of their friends, family and fellow mutants.

It took long enough, but finally there is a TV series about a zombie apocalypse. Its extremely gory, violent and a lot of fun, you know, if you're into that type of thing.

Based on an adult series of books about vampires, faeries, werecreatures and other mythical beings inhabiting present day society, True Blood is an extremely adult series centering around a small town called Bon Temps, Louisiana. Vampires have been accepted into mainstream society thanks to a Japanese blood substitute that allows them to survive without killing humans. However, all other mythical creatures remain hidden from society. Some episodes border on pornography and this series is in no way suitable for any under the age of 18.

Chesters Mill is a small town in the mid-west that is suddenly cut-off from the rest of the word when an invisible dome captures the entire town inside its impenetrable wall. Its origin, purpose and design are unknown. This show explores how the town attempts to carry on, while separated from the rest of the world.
